I.C.E. (STYM) SHOOT TILL YA MISS -
Ron Halgerson and Brent Kesteloot shot brilliantly on this side event, part of the Werewolf 100 entry. The target was a big battue, left to right and they both shot 6 / 6. We allow full use of the gun (2 shots) on each of the 6 single battues. Once you miss a target, you're done. So by the results, a dozen of the shooters missed the first bird.
Nice Job fellas on scratching through the 6 targets. You both have a box of shells coming your way. I.C.E. LONG BIRD - Ron Halgerson once again shows his shooting prowess (or luck) on the Long Bird side event. He was the only one that went 5 / 5 on the 90mm Midi high crow style target. Once again, another box of shells are coming your way Ron. Pick them up next time you're out shooting. The following honorable mentions on the long bird all went 4 / 5, just not enough to win November's Long Bird. Mark Reishus Doug Dingman Kevin Eye Troy Bach Pete Mergens Justin Nelson Kim Runholt
I.C.E. STEEL PLATES LOWEST SCORE POSTED = FASTEST & WINNER
Event participants used their shotguns to knock down 6 steel plates in the fastest time from 12 yards away. We used door #5 and the shooters used however many shells it took to knock down the rack.
Check out the results online along side the clay target shooting. events.
I.C.E. STEEL PLATES - OVER/UNDER
Winner here was Joe Will with a posted score of 1243.
What this means is that Joe used his over/under to knock all 6 steel plates down in 12.43 seconds. He was the fastest over/under shooter out there. Will that time get beat in December ? Time will tell.
Joe - a box of shells coming to ya I.C.E. STEEL PLATES - SEMI-AUTO Jon Switala is our Semi-Auto Winner with a steel plate rack knockdown time of 9.54 seconds. Solid shooting.
A box of shells coming to you Jon - Thanks for attending and showing people how to hit steel with authority.

An Event of Your Own
We also offer a venue for individuals to hold their shooting outings in addition to hosting club-organized and sanctioned events. Our shooting range and clubhouse facilities are also an excellent and unique spot to host a corporate gathering, party, fundraising event, party, or family day.
Our facility is a family-friendly spot that offers shooting year-round. Our winter heated indoor 5-Stand room can shield you from the elements while hitting targets.
Shotgun Sports & Fun
Shotgun shooting is a great lifetime sport for all people to enjoy. Some clay target shooters are well into their 80s, and other clay target shooters are in grade school and just starting out. Shotgun sports offers the following:
- Hitting moving targets from 10 yards away out to as far as the course presentations are set - which could easily be 45+ yards.
- Good clean entertainment seeing clay targets shatter into pieces from your well-placed shot. Stress relief to say the least.
- Clay target sports are one of the more social shooting sports. Getting together with family and friends for a fun shoot is always a blast.
- Meeting new, like-minded people at the range is always a possibility. Getting new shooters started is what seasoned shooters like to do.
- Following safety rules, maintaining focus, and paying attention to detail on the flight paths of the targets.
- Improving and maintaining wing shooting skills for your hunting experience.
Attend one of our shotgun events at our club or host one yourself so you can see firsthand what we mean.
